Try the Ny strip $15 the best! The best Billiards Club around. People are friendly. Always an open table to play. Tournaments on Thursdays. The food is really good. Their NY steak is incredible, specially the price is low for the cut. Overall, I would not go to another place to hang out.

I come here often from West Palm beach. I love the atmosphere and the tables. As the other reviews stated it is very smoky, But I'm a cigar smoker and love to come. The food is actually pretty good to be a pool hall. There are a bunch of regulars and that really makes the place feel joyful. You would not care for this place if you're not a smoker but if you love pool you will very quickly get used to the atmosphere. I would give this place a four out of five. A. Holmes

The Boyfriend made Janelle L., Jon G. and myself come here. I hate billiard clubs, period. I don't like the smell of cigarettes in an enclosed area. I didn't like the crowd, I didn't like the atmosphere. I don't like pool. I will not return. Cheap beer though, The Boyfriend got his New Castle for $3!

Great place, thursday is league night so get there early to get a table. We suck at pool but with some beers in us we have fun, great local place for cheap beers and to catch a game.

This is the most decent spot to play pool in Miami Lakes... Or it was when I played pool often a few years ago. However, it's still open today, has decent crowds, offers different leagues & tournaments, & the bar knows what they're doing. I think it's the best place within 10 minutes of Miami Lakes to go for an unpretentious & decent night of pool w. friends.

I've been coming here for years. Its a place full of regulars. I always make friends sitting at the bar. They have leagues for the serious pool players. Stays open till 3am. They stay open till 4 on the weekends. Pete is the owner and you'll often find him around socializing with his patrons. They have a private section that is good for parties. The music is usually very good unless you have that one guy that put $20 worth of country music.

I really hate walking out of a place smelling like I've been dipped in a pool of cigarettes. Once you're inside for a while you get used to the horrendous stench, but as soon as you walk out you notice how awful you smell. As soon as I got home I hopped into the shower and washed my hair. I would say this is just a regular pool hall. They're all pretty much the same. If you have no problem with the smell then I'm sure your experience will be more enjoyable than mine was.

Came in to eat because everything was closed in the area. Worst place in the world to go. Single worst wait for a simple burger I've ever had, one full hour! Crowd is shady as hell and there is a wanna-be gangster aspect here. Don't waste your time and money, go somewhere else.

Cheap beer. If you're cool with the overwhelming odor of tobacco, this place isn't too bad. The food is below average, but not terrible. The service could be better.

Monday night ladies' night and happy hour until 7PM! You get to play all the pool you want as long as it is just ladies at your table. Now I know this place is not known for its glitz and glamour but there is a certain appeal to it which makes myself and my fellow lady coworkers love frequenting here at least once every couple of months. The tables are great and upkept. There is a digital jukebox which takes all my money honey lol. I love being able to choose my own music - which we all drink and sing loudly to. I do not k now if other patrons enjoy it as much as we do though. I will be coming here often as long as I am working in the area. Also, my GF loves pool and enjoys coming here to practice her game. It is a bit smelly because you can smoke inside the pool hall but if you can just accept it before you walk in, you will enjoy yourself. If you decide you are there on a Monday or any day we happen to decide work was so crazy we needed a girls mini night out and hear a bunch of girls singing Salt N Peppa at the top of their lungs - that is us. Come have a drink :)

Meet me at the Bills. I have been going here for years now. Pool is just good on any occasion. Few drinks? Play pool. Watch a game? Play pool. Catch up with friends? Play pool. Do something, but very minimal? Play pool. Want to contemplate? Play pool. Feel like playing pool? Play pool. They recently starting holding leagues here which is pretty rad. They have a large bar with a great selection and TVs everywhere for games and fights. They have about 16 pool tables and some in a VIP area for parties or what nots. This is in Miami so beware non-smokers --smoking inside is allowed in these here parts. The menu is great bar food. But it also includes some other good choices. I can proudly vouch for the loaded cheese fries, the BBQ flatbread, and the Philly. Great prices on beers and pitchers, liquor is reasonable. They have a jukebox full of greatness. They use to have live bands perform here but have not heard of anything lately. Well, before I moved out of Miami. Oh, and they do in the biz prices for the tables. 50%? Why not.

Typical grimy pool joint. No joke, the last 2-3 times I've gone and have used the restroom, there were multiple dudes in one stall doing god knows what. Filled with the trashiest of people that Miami Lakes has to offer. Stay away unless you're into awful service and smelling like an ash tray.

Nice looking place to play pool.. Nice people around.. Average tables.. Music could be better some times.. Tried the chicken wings once and were pretty good.. Not that expensive.. BUT am looking for alternatives, the excessive smoke in this place will make you sick, is not joke. I would definitely go more often if it wasn't for the moral guilt the next day just thinking I probably lost two or three days of my life span do to the 3 packs of second hand cigarettes I inhaled in a four hour of game time.. You will take a shower at 4am!

the pool table area is somewhat smokey in the back during late nights, but the ventilation system handles all of that well. drinks are poured well and the bartenders are on point! the owner is cool and if he passes by your table, get him to give you a round on the house; he's a good guy! food menu runs late and is above average for this type of venue. you won't be disappointed!

Nice place to play pool, they even have a VIP area where you can play pool in private with soft coaches to sit at if you don't want to be bothered and want a private session with a friend or alone. Ask about their in their in the biz specials if you are in the service industry. They also have a full liquor bar. I like the way the bartender would always greet me by saying welcome home, I would always get a kick out of that. They have decent food, a dartboard, the lighting is just right, not too dark, not too bright and the juke box connects to the internet so you can jam to whatever your heart desires while you play some pool.

It's two in the morning and you know what they say? Nothing good happens at this time and they're right. They're totally right. The Billiard Club, The Bills, that piece of shit bar behind Cancun. Whatever your flavor, this place probably ain't it. It's dark, it's grimey and you'll walk out smelling like an ash tray. I know, I'm really selling you here, but this place, it's reminiscent of darker times and call me crazy, that brings me comfort. There's enough pool tables to bring the crew and then some. The bartenders are grade-A (Eric, you hold a special place in my heart and our jukebox compilations are indeed legendary.) Do yourself a favor and become a regular, they'll notice and you'll be taken care of for life. The menu is basic bar grub, but always, pretty spot on. It's the perfect place to get lost at for a few hours for a decent price. Don't get me wrong, I come to this place in waves. I hate it. I love it. I hate to love it. I love to hate it. I've battled heartbreak here, celebrated victories and winded down after many a shitty shift. I've shared laughs with friends, tears with my rum and yeah, is this place the epitome of Hialeah/Miami Laker trash? You bet your ass it is! But there's something about going back home that helps the scotch go down a bit easier.

I walked in here on a whim because I called a friend and she said she was at "the billiards" shooting pool with some guys. I was nearby and bored so I stopped in for a short while. Upon arriving, I was stopped almost immediately by a bartender (possibly manager? Or owner?) who sternly called me over. I felt like I was in trouble! What did I do?! I literally JUST walked in, there is no possible way I screwed this up already! My crime? I was wearing a sleeveless gray shirt and sleeveless shirts are apparently banned from the bar....weird. Thankfully the man offered me an extremely large, ugly beige polo shirt to wear for the duration of my stay at the bar, but asked that I please return it. I didn't even want to wear it in the first place! But I didn't want to break the rules, and I really wanted to hang with my friends, so I obliged. The mayor of Miami Lakes, Michael Pizzi, was there that night and looked extremely hyper as he chatted loudly with cohorts. Obnoxious, as per usual. He is usually the type of person who walks in and sucks all the oxygen out of a room because he always has to command attention. He laughs the loudest, yell-speaks and is apparently the favorite patron of this bar. Allegedly, shady dealings go on here as it is frequented by plenty of older men who are morally corrupt in their "transactions" and I'm surprised a bust has not gone down here already. I probably would not return here even if they paid me.

If you want a bar. A real bar with real bartenders and pool tables then come here. Every day they have happy hour. 2/1 bud/ by light: miller lite and well drinks. Plus they also have a cool selection of drafts including Corona Light, Guiness, and Angry Orchard. They is serve food. Best of all they stay open super late. Super super late. And the pours on the drinks are generous!

This is one of those cases that when writing your Yelp you have to focus on creating a balance between the negatives and the positives. I actually wrote down a list. A diagram really. I may or may not scan it and post it on here for LOLable purposes. For now, however, you're going to have to take my word for it. The positives outnumbered the negatives here. Since being here last night, it has been a while, I have been on a mission trying to find out when this business opened. I "somewhat clearly" remember coming here in the 90s. I'm thinking late 80s? If I ever come across that information I will be sure to post it on here. Not relevant to this review, though. Just one of the typical missions I go on. So, let's get it out of the way and start with the negatives: * Customer Service - Yeah, whatever. Nothing to go home crying over. Nothing to get upset over. Just, don't expect "star service" while here. Once you get their attention, however, like the waitress who eventually showed-up to take my order last night, they are very nice. That is, whenever it is that I would see her. I had to get up several times and go to the bar to get anyone's attention. Just relax and take a deep breath if this happens to you before complaining. * The Food - Yeah, whatever. Perfect for when you're drunk and just need anything in your stomach but, I've had better food at a "bar-like" setting. You will notice, when the food is brought to you, it is sloppy and appears to be cheap. Maybe if it looked better it would taste better? Yeah, it's not horrible. Just don't expect to be WOWed with the food. * Pool Tables - Too close to each other and, unless they are running one of their specials, on the pricy side of things. On a Sunday night, $13 an hour is pricy. * Not enough TVs to watch sports here. * Can get very crowded on the weekends and during special events. Just a warning so you can plan ahead. Not really a negative thing. * Smoking - Cigarette smoking is allowed here. This will be listed on both negatives and positives. Now, the positives: * Sports - You can watch UFC fights here and there is no cover. All local sports can be viewed here also. * It's a very large space with many pool tables that are kept up to date. * Drinks - For the years that I've been coming here they have always been known for their cocktails. The owners of this place do a great job at hiring bartenders that know their drinks. THANKS! * Beer - Very good beer selection and specials. * Older Humans friendly place. Not just young men and women come here. * Smoking - Cigarette smoking is allowed here. This will be listed on both negatives and positives. * Parking - This is in a very busy shopping center. When the surrounding businesses are open, you might not find a spot directly in front of it. If you're patient, however, you will always find a spot. * One of the only reliable places in the area that is open late with a full bar. This has always been "the spot" to stop at on your way home from somewhere else for more Evil Liquids and food. As I saw last night, that is still the case. Yeah man..whether you're here to play pool or not, it's a great place, hence, the four stars and not just three.
